Castor Oil & Its Benefits on Beard Growth

Ever heard of castor oil? Yes! You may have but are you aware of its wonderful contribution to beard growth? If not, let’s first know about it. Castor oil is a great way to make your beard thicker and more lustrous. It provides nutrients for the hair follicles and moisturises them. It also helps in keeping beard dandruff away. Castor oil is rich in vitamins E, F, Omega 9 fatty acids, minerals, and triglycerides.

These nutrients help to promote healthy facial hair growth. Castor oil has been used for many years in many cultures to promote hair and beard growth. However, castor oil’s effectiveness may differ depending on how facial hair is shaped.

But first, before going in deep let’s have a look at the advantages that castor oil provides…

Advantages of Using Castor Oil

Patchy beards are a result of inflammation and fungal or bacterial infections. Castor oil’s antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, especially when used with peppermint oil and tea tree oil, help to keep the skin under your beard healthy. This creates a favourable environment for healthy hair follicles and healthy beard growth.

Castor oils contain up to 87% of ricinoleic acid, 3% oleic acid, 4% Linoleic acid and 11% stearic. Ricinoleic acid protects the skin from irritation and inflammation. Linoleic acid and stearic acids fight free radicals. The oil contains oleic acid, which prevents skin from ageing and replenishes lost moisture. Castor oil has antimicrobial, antifungal and other properties.

  • Apart from this, there are several other benefits of applying castor oil. They are as follows
  • Prevents Infections: Castor oil has antimicrobial properties that help to prevent skin infections. Castor oil also acts as an antifungal agent.

  • Hair growth stimulator

  • It thickens your facial hair

  • Moisturises Your Beard: The high levels of omega-6 and Omega-9 fatty acids combine to make your hair soft and healthy. Castor oil is a moisturiser that protects hair and skin from dryness and damage.

  • Promotes Beard Growth:
It has been observed that essential fatty acids in castor oil ( ricinoleic and oleic acid) aid in hair growth and hair follicle nutrition.

  • It prevents split ends and nourishes roots.
  • Makes hair shiny and darkens the facial hair
  • Fights Dandruff: Castor oil’s linoleic acid has been shown to be extremely beneficial in hydrating the skin of adults and preventing dryness, flakes and skin irritation.

  • Protects your beard from premature greying: Castor oil can help preserve your beard’s natural colour for a longer time. Castor oil can prevent your beard from becoming grey if used regularly.

  • It can fill bald and patchy areas

  • Detangles Beard hair and Combats Frizz: Castor oil is a natural remedy for detangling beard hair. This oil also improves hair’s lustre. Oil helps to smoothen hair shafts and improve the overall texture.

How Does Castor Oil Help in Beard Growth?

Castor beans are the main source of castor oils. Castor beans are grown primarily for their seeds. When pressed, the liquid becomes pale yellow and mild in odour. Castor oil can help you grow a beard. This oil is rich in many beneficial acids such as:

  • Palmitic acid aids nutrients in reaching deeper into the skin and promotes hair growth.
  • Linoleic acid and Stearic acid helps keep your skin moisturised.
  • Oleic acid, which prevents water from escaping. It also increases skin permeability which can help increase the effectiveness of other beard treatments.

Know the Process of Applying Castor Oil in the Proper Way

Castor oil is a great way to increase blood circulation and nourish hair. It can even prevent split ends and breakage. Castor oil has a thick consistency, making it difficult to apply. Therefore, to increase the viscosity of castor oil, you can add other carrier oils to it like almond oil, jojoba oil, or tea tree oil.

Let us have a look at the different ways of applying castor oil:

  • Castor Oil:
Warm water and a mild cleanser are sufficient to wash your beard and skin beneath it. After drying your beard, place 4-5 drops of castor oil in your palm. Rub them together to warm the oil. Then apply the oil to the roots, working your way up to the tips. To increase blood circulation, massage the oil in circular motions. To spread the oil evenly, you can even use a beard brush. You can leave it on overnight, then wash it off the next day. This process should be repeated 3-4 times per week, or alternately.
  • Castor Oil with Jojoba Oil:
Before applying the mix, clean your beard with a cleansing product. Combine a tablespoonful of jojoba oil with 3-5 drops of castor oil. Use your hands to rub the oil onto your beard. You can take your time massaging the oil. The more you massage the oil, the better the blood circulation. After massaging the oil, soak a towel in warm water and then wring it out. After relaxing for 5-10 minutes, gently wipe off the oil from your face. Now, use a towel to dry your face and then apply the toner. To maintain a healthy beard, repeat this process at least 1-2 times per week.
  • Castor Oil with Almond Oil & Tea Tree Oil:
First, use a mild cleanser to wash your face. Then mix 20 drops of castor oil, one tablespoon of almond oil, and a drop of tea tree oil. Combine all ingredients. Now, massage the mixture into your beard. Let it sit for at least an hour. You can also leave it for up to an hour.
In a Nutshell

Castor oil when combined with carrier oils such as coconut and almond can supply immense benefits in developing your beard. This oil can be purchased from any local store at a reasonable price. You just need to have patience and apply the oil in the proper way as explained above. Also, chewing some beard growth gummies can be an added advantage when trying to develop a denser and fuller beard.

Thus, popping the “Dapper Hair & Beard” gummies can be thought of. These gummies have a delicious flavour of strawberry and blueberry and are also enriched with Vitamins, Minerals, Biotin, Fenugreek Seed Extract, as well as Beta-Sitosterol. Improve Beard Growth With These 10 Effective Tips

Voluminous and fuller beard is something that all men like. However, maintaining and grooming your beard isn’t anything less than an ongoing routine and is a must. Your genes determine the rate at which the hair on your beard develops.

However, higher testosterone levels increase your chances of growing thick and abundant beard hair. While you must be patient when growing the beard out, you should also know when you need to shape and trim it in a way that does not appear messy.

Alternatively, your beard growth is also dependent on how you maintain your beard, the diet you eat or the changes occurring in your lifestyle. Despite being affected by these factors, there are ways that you can incorporate in your regular routine and boost the growth of your beard.

Let us further have a look at those amazing tips that can assist you in enhancing your beard growth…

1. Maintaining Beard Cleanliness

Maintaining a clean beard isn’t just about how it looks or feels. It also plays an important role in maintaining your hygiene. The inability to clean and wash your beard frequently can result in an accumulation of bacteria or germs which, in turn, could result in more health issues or irritation to the skin. All of this is unpleasant and can be a nightmare to manage as time passes. Thus, you need to make sure that you wash and clean your beard on a regular basis.

2. Applying Balms and Oils

Beard oils and balms can help you deal with many issues like hair loss and lack of lustre, uneven growth, and more. The use of creams, balms, and beard oils aid in the growth of your beard. They can even help in moisturizing and managing the beard.

It also improves the appearance of your beard. Additionally, the circulation that occurs when they are massaged into the beard can improve blood circulation, which can aid in speeding up the growth of the beard.

3. Moisturizing your Beard

Majority of people use conditioners right after washing their hair. This is because it assists in sealing in moisture and keeps hair soft and easy to manage. Also, moisturising your beard is a good idea, but you need to ensure that you make use of products that have been specifically designed for the hair of the beard. Beards that are longer are more brittle in texture, which is why moisturization is essential. Moisturising it will ensure that the skin beneath and the beard itself, are maintained and hydrated.

4. Using a Brush/ Comb

You might be observing small knots in your beard and it can get irritating. Doing nothing to fix those knots is not a good idea as it could cause the hair on your beard to fall out or turn weaker over time. Hence, the best solution is to keep a small beard comb that can be used every day, while giving your hair a few brushes every now and again can help you avoid breaking the knots.

5. Consuming the Right Food

A well-groomed beard doesn’t just depend on the products you put on externally. Healthy eating and getting the right nutrients into your body are equally important. Omega-3, Vitamin B, and Vitamin A are known to be excellent sources of protein. Nutrients such as minerals, and vitamins help your facial hair develop evenly and thickly. A balanced diet can thus aid in the growth of your beard and assist you in having longer beards.

6. Know What Suits Your Face the Best

Making the perfect beard shape has a lot to do with the jawline and contours of your face. There are certain types of beards that are perfect for a certain face, while others do not work. Therefore, ensure that you know the shape of your face and what looks great on you. You can play around with different beard styles based on this factor.

7. Making Use of the Right Tools

It isn’t enough to use any type of scissors, or razor when grooming your beard. There are a lot of brands available offering a wide range of grooming products that make your  at-home beard maintenance a lot more simple. Cutters, trimmers, creams and lotions specifically designed for beards can be a wise investment. Electric shavers can be useful for grooming your beard since they’re simple to use and give you the possibility of professional grooming at home.

8. Keeping the Tools Clean

Not just your beard but also the tools that you are using to groom your beard needs to be neat and tidy all the time. The blades and tools are required to be kept in good working order and changed with new blades every now and then. Maintaining your tools in good condition will make sure that your skin doesn’t develop rashes or infections particularly if you have sensitive skin.

9. Make a Schedule

If you’re someone with a hectic schedule and finds it difficult to find time to groom, the most effective course is to set up a routine grooming. Take a timer, figure out the time you need to cut or reduce your beard and then take care to clean it. Keep all beard-related items in a particular place so you don’t have to search for them. Doing so would ensure that your beard is fully groomed and your important works are also not hampered.

10. Be Patient

You may find it funny but it’s among one of the most important tips to be remembered when trying to take care of your beard. The lack of patience is the main reason for the absence of beard growth to certain individuals.

Every person has their own beard growth rates, and not everybody is blessed with rapid beard growth. When beards grow unevenly or patchy for a couple of weeks then the impatience prompts you to eliminate it due to the fact that it was not growing as it should.

Beards vary and some simply have their own unique style. Be patient…the uneven and patchy growth can take a bit of your time, but you’ll eventually notice that your facial hair has grown. Guy! just keep trying and be motivated!

All in All

You might be following the same old regime for your beard growth. This might have even reduced the pace of its growth. Therefore, enhancing your way by including the tips that have been highlighted above can not only boost the growth but also help you in improving the health of your heart. In addition to doing so, you can also try some biotin enriched beard growth gummies

Hence when making a choice, you can go ahead with the “Dapper Hair & Beard” gummies. These rabbit-shaped gummies contain Folic acid, Biotin, Fenugreek Seed Extract, Beta-Sitosterol, Vitamin A, C, E, B12, and many other essential minerals. Go the Mediterranean Way

With the pandemic unleashing the new fever for a healthy, sustainable lifestyle, one in every six people around the world is considering changing his or her eating habits to achieve goals such as weight loss, healthy living, and mental health enhancement. Now, there are countless dieting options available, from incredibly restrictive to more balanced and manageable meal plans and it can be quite challenging to find the best one for you.

Amongst those diet regimes, the Mediterranean diet is ranked as one of the best diets. Many studies have found it to be one of the healthiest ways to live. It is linked to innumerable health benefits such as lowering cholesterol, improving heart health, aiding digestion, longevity, and weight loss. In fact, it’s pretty tough to fault the Mediterranean meal plan. So, if you are keen on changing your eating habits, read through this article to know more about the Mediterranean diet.

What’s a Mediterranean diet?

The foundation of the Mediterranean Diet is derived from the traditional cuisine of the countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea. Individuals living in the Mediterranean have been eating this way for hundreds of years now. While there is no specific definition of the Mediterranean diet, it is widely known as a meal plan that includes whole grains, nuts and seeds, fruits, vegetables, and olive oil. The fundamental elements of the Mediterranean lifestyle are sharing healthy meals with family and friends while relishing a glass of red wine and physical activity.

Why the Mediterranean?

A well-balanced, suitable, and sustainable diet combined with regular exercise can help maintain your body and mind in good shape. Well, that’s just the perfect description of the Mediterranean way. The icing on the cake is that it has fewer restrictions, unlike any other diet plan.

Here are five reasons why you should opt for the Mediterranean diet.
  1. You don’t have to count your calories

Yes, you heard it right. You don’t need a calculator to monitor your calorie intake. Instead, you ought to swap out the bad fats for good ones—go for olive oil instead of butter; skip sugary, fancy desserts and enjoy fresh fruits; fish or poultry rather than red meat. Eat tasty veggies, beans, and nuts (but stick to a handful a day). You can have whole-grain bread and wine, however, in moderate amounts.

  1. Fresh Food

In the Mediterranean diet, the food is absolutely fresh, and the meal course focuses on seasonal produce, eliminating the role of frozen or processed food. The menu includes yummy multi-bean salads and colorful veggie-filled tomato gazpacho.

  1. Bread, Wine, and Fat

Unlike other diets, the Mediterranean diet does not prohibit the consumption of bread and fat in your daily meals. However, you will have to swap the saturated and trans-fat for good fat and the white bread for whole-grain bread. That sounds simple, doesn’t it? Well, there is more. Most Mediterranean meal plans allow red wine in moderation.

Whole-grain bread is healthier than bread made with white flour because it contains more protein and minerals. When it comes to fat, look for the good kind, such as nuts, olives, and olive oil. These fats add flavor and help fight diseases from diabetes to cancer. With respect to wine, some studies suggest that one glass of red wine a day for women and two for men may be good for the heart.

  1. Colossal array of menu

The Mediterranean diet is an extensive collection of cuisines. It includes Greek, Italian, Spain, Turkey, Morocco, and other Mediterranean countries’ cuisines. However, one must stick to the basics:  whole-fat dairy, light on red meat with olive oil, and loads of fresh veggies, fruits, and whole grains.

Healthy way of losing weight

Losing weight while eating nuts, cheese, and oils is indeed a miracle. The Mediterranean way of food and, of course, the slower eating style will make you feel full and satisfied. This way, you will stick to a diet plan. The diet plan works wonders for weight loss when combined with regular exercise.

How to make a Mediterranean meal?

It’s essential to stick to the foods at the core of the eating plan to reap the benefits of the Mediterranean diet. For starters, include core foods such as vegetables, fruits, beans, herbs, whole grains, spices, nuts, and healthy fats daily, fish and seafood twice a week, and dairy foods, eggs, and poultry in moderation and occasionally. Red meats and sweets must rarely be included in the meal.

Of course, like any other diet, the Mediterranean style comes with its own pros and cons, but it is associated with the individual’s eating style.

Here are some generic benefits and drawbacks of this eating plan.

Benefits
  • Covers all major food groups and helps maintain a balanced diet with diverse flavors.
  • The diet can help reduce the risk of diseases such as cancer, improve memory function, control diabetes, promote heart health, support blood sugar control, and reduce inflammatory markers.
  • Aids in mental health management and weight management
  • Eating the Mediterranean way helps the planet

Drawbacks

  • Some of the ingredients or foods are expensive.
  • Cooking can be time-consuming.
  • Limitations on red meat and alcohol
  • The diet might not be ideal for everyone; additional guidance may be necessary for specific conditions.
  • Some of the dietary restrictions might be challenging.

The Mediterranean diet is one of the most delectable and clean eating methods. You are undoubtedly doing a favor to both your body and the planet. However, keep in mind that each person is different, and each body type is unique. Therefore, one has to understand his or her body’s needs and regulate a customized diet plan. Nevertheless, if you are looking for a diet plan that transforms your health, aids in slow and steady weight loss and management, and a tasty way of eating that won’t leave you feeling deprived, the Mediterranean diet is the real choice and definitely, worth trying. On the other hand, if you are looking for a plan that involves serving sizes and calories, the Mediterranean diet is probably not your cup of tea.

7 things you NEVER skip in order to be a better runner

We all commit to different forms of exercises in quest for better health and well-being. Running is one of the most popular forms of exercise with weight loss benefits. Well-designed running schedules prevent high blood pressure, help in diabetes control, strengthening muscles and improving cardiovascular health. A glowing supple skin is an added advantage. Here are a few tips to become a better runner and optimise running benefits:

1.       NEVER skip activation exercises and warm up

Activation exercises are typically for awakening of muscles which help in increased blood circulation and achieve neuromuscular efficiency. They boost performance and reduce the risk of injury.

2.       NEVER miss stretches after the run however exhausted you are

They help in reduction of muscle and joint stiffness called DOMS (Delayed Onset of Muscle Soreness). Stretches help in achieving flexibility and relieving tension in muscles. High intensity running leads to lactate build up and stretches release of lactate.

3.       NEVER forget to trim toenails to avoid them falling off or jamming up the shoe

Popularly called Runner’s/ Jogger’s toenail causes blackening or discoloration of the toenail which may lead to pain and infection. It is medically called ‘subungual hematoma’ which occurs due to the impact on the toes caused while feet land on the ground eases with a visit to a podiatrist to drain the blood collected under the nails. To avoid this discomfiture, it is best to keep toenails trimmed and disinfected.

4.       NEVER run on an empty stomach and without ample hydration

The importance of nutrition can never be undermined. 40% of the intake has to be carbohydrates in order to fuel the energy required for intense running. Adequate amounts of protein and fats are a prerequisite. Unassuming curd rice can boost energy and aid in good, energetic runs. You can also have banana, soaked almonds, dates as pre-run nutrition.

The importance of hydration cannot be emphasised more as our body runs on water and dehydration begins much before the run begins! Running routes have to be carefully designed making way for hydration points. Electral, sports drinks, tender coconut help maintain electrolyte balance in the body.

5.       NEVER forget to foam roll after long distance runs

It improves recovery enabling further training to commence uninterrupted. It alleviates muscle soreness and stiffness and improves blood circulation

6.       NEVER skip sleeping well and resting after runs

Most of the recovery happens during sleep and rest. A good sleep is therefore a must

7.    NEVER forget to use skin lubricants to avoid chafing

Chafing is common in runners due to friction, moisture and fabric in the thigh and buttock area. It may even develop into a rash. Liberal application of lubricants  like Vaseline Petroleum jelly, coconut oils, lotions or powders help prevent chafing.

Effective Diet Plans for Healthy Weight Management

Managing your weight is one of the essential factors when it comes to keeping your body fit and healthy. The better you eat, the more your inner body will be kept healthier and the outer will be strengthened. In our country, this may seem like a daunting task because of our food culture and diet practices. We also enjoy eating snacks like namkeens and bhujias and cannot imagine a day without their supply. Apart from this, most of you might not have indulged yourself in practising any physical activity.

Hence, in order to shed those extra kilograms, all you have to do is stick to your calorie budget and then get rid of the added calories. For weight loss in a healthier way, you should ensure that your Indian diet is well-balanced i.e. it includes all food groups and all the nutrients required to be healthy. The intake of weight management gummies into your daily routine can also turn out to be an added advantage during the weight management journey.

Let us first have a look at the multiple types of diet plans that can be effective in managing your weight:

1. Proteins Diet Plan

The majority of Indians do not satisfy the everyday protein requirements. This can be a problem since proteins are vital for helping the body construct and repair muscles, tissue, cartilage, skin and tendons and also pump blood.

Hence, eating a diet high in protein can also aid in managing weight since it aids in building muscle that burns more energy than fat. Around 70% of the daily diet should be protein-based which is in the form of paneer, deals, milk, leafy vegetables, chana, or sprouts. It is recommended to have one serving of protein with every meal.

2. Vitamins and Minerals Diet Plan

Vitamin A, E, D, B12, iron, and calcium are vital to the body since they help with metabolism, muscle, bone maintenance, nerve function, and cell growth. They can be taken from plants, oilseeds, nuts, fruits, as well as green leafy vegetables. Nutritionists and experts recommend eating 100 grams of fresh greens as well as 100 grams of fruit respectively.

3. Carbohydrates Diet Plan

Carbohydrates are the body’s primary energy source and should account for the majority of your daily calorie needs. But, it’s crucial to select the correct kind of carbohydrates. Simple carbs like biscuits, bread white rice, white rice as well as wheat flour are loaded with high levels of sugar and can be harmful to your health.

Instead, you can choose complex carbohydrates that are rich in fibre and loaded with nutrients, as opposed to simple carbs. This is due to the fact that fibre-rich complex carbohydrates are more difficult to

digest, which leaves you feeling fuller for a longer period and thus are the ideal choice to manage weight. Brown rice and millets like oats and ragi are excellent complex carb options.

4. Fats Diet Plan

Fats are an important food category that has gained an unpopular image. But do you know, these are also vital to the body since they store vitamins and energy and also synthesize hormones. Experts recommend that one-fifth or 20% of your daily diet should consist of healthy fats, such as polyunsaturated, or monounsaturated, as well as Omega-3 fatty acids.

You can use an assortment of oils for various meals, including rice bran oil, soya beans,  sunflower, sesame, and groundnut oil or small amounts of butter and Ghee as they are the most efficient method for you to intake fats. But, you should keep your distance from trans fats which are present in fried snacks and other foods, in order to maintain a healthy Indian diet Plan.

Additional Habits to Help You Stay Healthy

Following a proper diet is quite necessary for efficiently managing your weight. However, there are also certain additional tips that you need to include in your regular diet to keep your body healthy. Let us further have a look on these tips for an effective weight management plan:

1. Consume Plenty of Water

Drinking water supplies zero calories to your body!!. Additionally, drinking adequate glasses of water may reduce hunger cravings. Hence, you should commence drinking 6-8 glasses of water a day to manage weight. Also, consuming other beverages such as green tea, apple cider vinegar, ginger tea, etc. can help you manage your weight.

2. Increase Intake of Fibrous Foods

One should consume a minimum of 15 grams of fibre every day because it helps the digestion process and improves heart health too. Oats, flax seeds, lentils, broccoli, and apples are some excellent sources of fibre.

3. Eat 5-6 Meals Per Day

Instead of having three large meals, you can have three small meals and some snacks in small portions throughout the duration of the day. Dividing your meals into frequent intervals can help prevent bloating and acidity, and even reduce hunger cravings. So, you should immediately quit your junk food habit by choosing healthier snacking choices from the Indian diet plan.

4. Have Dinner Early

Indians consume their meals later than other cultures around the globe. Metabolism slows down after evening, so a late meal could lead to an increase in weight. It is also suggested that by 8 p.m. you should be done with your last meal.

To Sum Up

Following a diet plan is quite necessary when it comes to managing weight. A proper diet plan consisting of adequate carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, and minerals assists in the weight management process. However, you don’t have to change your eating habits or make drastic changes to your diet. All you have to do is adhere to the most balanced Indian diet to stay healthy.

Furthermore, you can add up some weight loss gummies to your weight management regime to boost the procedure. Hence, chewing “The Beach Body” gummies can help you achieve your goals. 10 Ways to Get Rid of Your Dry & Frizzy Hair

Amidst your busy schedule from work to home, you may tend to forget to take care of yourself. Even after eating healthy foods, you may forget that your external body parts need concentration too. Not giving proper focus on especially your hair can result in damaging it. This damage can make it dry and even frizzy. The humidity in the environment, sweat, hair styling and other such factors can worsen your hair’s health.

However, the way you treat your hair prior to washing it or after you have washed it maintains its quality. Thus, it is important that you take care of them both these times. Choosing a proper shampoo or conditioning it afterwards makes your hair look beautiful from the outside. Dry hair even needs hydration which you can fulfill by trying the steam therapy.

As you will move down further, numerous ways would be made available to assist you in minimizing your frizzy and dry hair problem. Some biotin gummies or supplements rich in vitamins can be effective in treating this issue as well.

1. Do not Shampoo your Hair on a Daily Basis

Your hair might feel like it needs to be washed every day because of the dirt, sweat, pollution, and stress around you. However, you will be surprised to learn that your hair doesn’t need a daily shampoo despite all the stress and pollution. Over shampooing your hair can cause it to become dry, damaged, and frizzy. Thus, you need to check on how often you shampoo it. You then need to limit this process to two times a week.

2. Conditioning is Necessary After Shampoo

It is important to use the right shampoo, but that alone will not make a difference. You should always use the correct conditioner with your shampoo. The right conditioner for your hair type will nourish it, making it shiny, soft and healthy.

3. Be Gentle with Your Hair

Treat your hair gently and with love. Do not rub, comb, or pull your damp hair. This will cause hair damage and further lead to breakage. It can also cause hair loss and damage to your scalp.

4. Apply Hair Mask

You can nourish your hair with a hair mask the same way you nourish your skin by using a facial mask. A hair mask can make your hair look great, even if it’s damaged. This will lock in moisture, give your hair shine, repair damage, and make it healthier. A nourishing hair mask is a great option for enhancing your hair’s shine and texture.

5. Trim Your Hair on a Regular Basis

Long hair is great, but it is not a good idea to skip trimming. Maintaining good hair health requires regular trimming. You should choose the right hairstyle for you and trim it every month.

6. Give a Hot Oil Massage to the Scalp

Massaging is the first step in your hair care routine. Doing it with oil is a quick way to fix split ends, breakage, dandruff, frizzy hair, and itchy scalps. Regular oiling makes hair smoother, manageable, and less frizzy. It also increases your hair volume and strengthens the follicles. Thus, you should use only natural, nourishing oils for your head massage.

7. Go to a Hair Spa

Hair spas are a great addition to your hair care routine. These treatments can deeply condition your hair and reverse damage from chemical-based products and heat styling. You have two options: you can either buy hair-nourishing products at home or hire a professional to do it. A regular hair spa is essential for everyone, regardless of whether you are looking for a hair treatment routine for women or men.

8. Hydrate your Hair with a Steam Therapy

Did you know that steaming your hair can make it healthier and stronger? The steam’s heat hydrates dry hair and keeps it moist. Not limited to this, it even promotes hair growth and softens it. Therefore, steaming is a great way to get rid of dry hair.

9. Brush Your Hair Properly

After you get out of the shower, dry your hair gently using a towel and then start to brush upwards. To smoothen the cuticles, use a round brush. However, your hair is at its weakest when it’s wet, so, do not brush it at this time.

10. Opt for the Appropriate Shampoo

Your first step in hair care for women should be to properly wash your hair. When you have to wash your hair, make sure you choose the right shampoo. Every hair type is unique so you should only use a shampoo made for you. A natural shampoo without toxic chemicals or artificial fragrances is a great choice.

Sulfate-free shampoos, on the other hand, maintain hair’s natural oil levels and allow them to retain more moisture. You should also ensure that you purchase shampoo according to your hair type when shopping for hair products. It will nourish, cleanse and strengthen your hair follicles.

Conclusion

We hope that the multiple ways that have been mentioned above can aid in the reduction of your dry and frizzy hair.  An additional tip also awaits you: Remember to drink a lot of water during the day and include green leafy vegetables that can give nourishment to your hair. Following all the given ways along with this small tip can bring a huge change to your hair’s quality.

You can also give a try on hair gummies that are can be effective in regaining hair growth and texture. As they would provide the right amount of nutrition, your hair health would start improving. Hence, the “Gorgeous Hair & Nails” gummies can be consumed to fulfill this need. These cute little rabbit-shaped treats contain Zinc, Vitamins A to E, and Biotin. Men are always overlooked when it comes to maintaining hair. However, the only thing men are more worried about among all body parts is their hair. Most of you may have noticed men constantly fixing their hair. Dude…do you do the same?  No worries! It is just because a good hair day can boost your confidence to another level and we surely agree with that. So, my dear men, it’s time that you start following some hair care tips that will enhance your hair growth and give you that ultimate good hair for which you have been waiting.

Also, including some of these tips will help you with your long-term improvement in hair health. The tips you will be going through are quite easy and don’t require enough time. There’s also a small tip for you: You can even start chewing biotin gummies which would help your body in fulfilling the biotin requirement for good hair growth.

Come on then…let us start with these beneficial hair care tips:

1. Bath in lukewarm or cold water

Extremely cold showers can block blood capillaries that line the scalp. These blood capillaries are a source of vital nutrients and should be functioning properly to have the best effectiveness. However, suddenly reducing them could be damaging to your hair’s health.

However, this doesn’t mean that you should wash your hair in steaming hot water. This can ruin your hair, as it pulls out the natural oils that are present on the scalp. Ideally, you should wash your hair using lukewarm water.

2. Avoid wearing tight or rigid caps

The use of hats with tight fittings can result in a condition known as traction Alopecia. When this happens, people are more likely to experience hair loss. Thus, you should avoid wearing caps or hats when you have wet hair. They can permanently harm the hair’s texture.

So, you should pat the hair to dry it after shampooing, and put on an easy hat that looks nice and shields your hair from serious damage. Additionally, people with greasy or oily hair are recommended to not wear hats. A lot of oil and grease could damage hair if you choose to exert too much tension on the hair.

3. Instead of rubbing your hair, pat it dry

Hair that is moist is more brittle and vulnerable to damage. Hence, it is recommended to gently pat your hair with a towel to dry it. After applying shampoo or hair wash, it’s advised to gently dry your hair using a dry, clean towel. This will enhance the hair’s texture, and help prevent breakage.

4. Apply Shampoo on Dry Hair to Clear Wax

This is among the best methods for getting rid of wax from hair that is dry. This method can be used for fresh and healthy hair. Apply shampoo to dry hair, and after that, you can rinse it off with either cold or lukewarm water. This will take away the wax leaving you with a clear and clean scalp. Use this method every week to eliminate the wax particles completely out of your hair.

5. Avoid Rinsing Your Hair Too Often

The most common error made by everyone is excessive hair washing or washing your hair more frequently. You need to limit this to two to three times per week. Moreover, you should regularly change your hair’s appearance by conditioning it. This will ensure that your hair is healthy and will help you prevent the loss of essential oils from the scalp.

6. Take Prevention Against Chlorine Water

The chlorine that is found in pools can be very damaging to the scalp since the hair can become weak and dry. Therefore, the most effective way to protect your hair from the damaging consequences of chlorine is to saturate your hair with water that is clean and then apply a mild conditioner prior to entering the pool. As an alternate option, you could wear a swim cap too.

7. Try to Reduce the Use of Hair Products

Utilizing excessive amounts of hair gel, hair wax or hair spray, or any other hair products makes your hair appear unnatural and heavy. You should also not expose your hair’s delicate locks to excessive temperatures. You also need to avoid using dryers for rapidly drying delicate hair.

Let them dry straight. It could take some extra time however, it would surely stop the hair’s delicateness from getting thin. If you’re using a hair dryer in order to dry out your hair be sure you keep it on the mild heat framework.

8. Keep Yourself Healthy

Your hair is the very first thing people notice about you and your hair’s health is the reflection of your daily life. Men’s hair care regime means that you must eat healthy food, exercise regularly and drink plenty of water. You should also take your time sleeping and try to be positive.

9. Intake Plenty of Water

Hair is of course required for maintaining your body health. Thus, hair requires water too!  The loss of water in your hair immediately stops growth. Drinking at least 2 litres of water daily can aid in the health of your hair by expanding its growth. It is also preferable to use soft water while washing your hair so that it gets nourished from the outside too. If it’s not getting the required water, the ends of your hair can break or turn brittle.

Conclusion

Eating healthy or drinking lots of water would not only be effective for your hair but also for your entire body. This would even be beneficial in the long run. We now hope that these small ideas for your hair care would start affecting your growth and quality of hair. Some of them would gradually throw out results while a few of them may be rapid.

Weight Management – Why your weight management regime is not going well?

Hey! How are you doing with your weight management methods, you would have tried a lot, from early morning alarms to diet control, skipping parties, and not the least trying to sleep with a hungry stomach… and in this journey, you are feeling frustrated, and torn down! You may be chasing one fitness coach to another. If this is the scenario, then be assured this article will bring new light to show a proper direction to your “weight management” pledge and procedure.

1. Need for Weight Management

Let us first understand the need for weight management. One can say, in the terms of engineering, our body is a marvelous piece of a machine and, it should remain in working condition to remain fit and to work life long. Our body is designed to manage its functions at its best when everything is within the limits, so if someone is overweight, the heart requires more pumping of blood, the knees have to bear more than expected weight, and many other ailments mushroom up as we grew older. More lines can be punched here, but I do believe you already know more than me on this.

Also, you will see many ailments in even people who even have an ideal weight. Even if someone has proper weight and still feels inactive, it is because that person is probably not giving proper exercise to the body.

For our body, fitness works as fine-tuning of this machine.

2. Nature of the Body

In your journey of weight management, first of all, let me tell you, the very first aspect you should know is the nature of your body (the body type) according to the ancient science of Ayurveda. You may be thinking about how Ayurveda is related to this. This is that aspect that is never taken care of and all those weight management regime goes for a toss after some time.

Ayurveda considers three forms of nature of a person’s system or body, these are “Vaat” (Gastric nature), “Pitta” (Acidic nature), and ‘Kaff” (Cough). No one thinks about this aspect and that is why most people lose their weight management pledge.

Now take, for example, a person who has a nature of “vaat” or even say “pitta” and to control your weight you are starving, this will increase your risk of a heart attack. Even if you play a sport and you cross the level then required, this formation of gas or the acidic nature is causing harm to you which you do not know. Even, for example, if a person has a “Kaff” (Cough) nature and that person is taking shakes in excess, her or his immune system will remain hit all the time by the cough, and that person will feel congestion in the chest or common cold will be common to these people.

Here, I believe, to begin your weight management journey you are now able to understand the importance of the nature of your body. You can consult an experienced Ayurveda Doctor to know this and this will help you to plan your diet too according to the nature of your body.

Let us now understand the actual importance of weight management, just think why the top-notch people in the world invest so much time in their weight management regime because this will help you live longer and yes, people

who earn for a long have their weight management regime strong!

Once you have gone through the nature of your body as mentioned in the Ayurveda, now you are ready to begin your journey. In this journey just do not make very big targets, take small baby steps to move, slow and steady will be the merrier.

Suppose, if you wake up at, say, 08:00 AM in the morning then just do not make an alarm of 05:00 AM in the morning to go for a walk, this will not work because your body is used to waking up at 08:00 AM. Rather than, make an alarm for say 07:00 AM first and when you wake up at 07:00 AM in the morning, just go outside of your home or at a balcony wait for one or two minutes, and then you can again go to sleep till 08:00 AM! I am giving you back your sleep! Interesting! You may be thinking about how it is going to work, it will work, have patience, patience is the key! Just repeat this process for a few days. On one side you keep on reducing the alarm timing and on the other side keep on increasing the wait time at the balcony.  Now say, in 15 days you have come to an alarm of 05:00 AM and when you will be waking up on the 15th day you will be waking up without the requirement of an alarm of 05:00 AM, be assured you will be hitting the ground for a walk! This is because now your so-called biological clock is in action! Your body is now demanding fresh air, go out, play with your body, have fun and enjoy!

Now just imagine, you are waking up at 05:00 AM, going for an exercise, and coming up back even say by 06:30 AM, still 08:00 AM (your earlier wake-up time) is 01:30 hour away from 06:30 AM. You saved one and a half hours, you can invest this in family bonding or even you can invest this time to gain some knowledge. Just see how this extra one and half hours you easily generated from your daily routine and you are free to calculate this one and an hour on a daily basis for a full year, it will give you more than 20 days! Yes! you got your vacation time!

Congratulations, with this your journey to “weight management” has been successfully launched! And to reach the next destination on this journey, there will be another article.

HAIR CARE TIPS

You’ll find a lot of advice about your hair care, from conditioning to oiling to not oiling. Your mother will tell you to oil your hair, while your hairdresser will recommend the latest trend like hair spa, Moroccan oil, strengthening not rebonding, and all. When you lack proper nutrition or suffer from deficiencies in the body, hair cells are the first to suffer. Your diet should include foods containing iron, such as leaves, fish, pumpkin seeds, beans, chickpeas, soybeans, and cereals. Twelve milligrams of iron are recommended daily. In addition to strengthening your hair, protein is also necessary. Here are some considerations to make when considering treatment options.

1. Choose shampoos and conditioners that are appropriate for your hair type

If you have a particular hair type, make sure you choose the correct shampoo and conditioner. If you have dry hair, you should buy a shampoo designed for it.

Also, double-check the ingredients. Many shampoos contain additives that can be damaging to your hair. Soft and shiny hair can be achieved by using products that contain dimethicone and guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride.

2. Maintain a healthy diet

Maintaining good hair health begins with eating healthily. Fruits, vegetables, whole grains, fish, and chicken can nourish your hair and body. As well as drinking plenty of water, make sure you are getting enough nutrition. Maintaining proper hydration of your skin and hair requires drinking 6 to 8 glasses of water per day. Reduce your consumption of fatty or fried foods, as well as salt and sugar.

3. Limit your use of hair products

Too often using a hair dryer and straightener can cause the hair to weaken and break because of the increased pressure they put on it. Other dangers include dry hair and split ends. Give your hair a break by using them once or twice a week.

4. Properly brush or comb hair

This may seem obvious, but incorrect or overly forceful brushing can cause damage to your hair. Brush wet hair only if necessary or use a comb.

5. Protect your hair while swimming

Unfortunately, it isn’t always good for your hair. You may suffer from dry, brittle, and broken hair as a result of swimming pool chlorine.

6. Take care of yourself with deep conditioning

Make sure your hair receives a deep conditioning treatment once a week to prevent dryness and brittle hair strands.

7. Visit your hairdresser regularly as well

Having your hair professionally groomed on a monthly or six-weekly basis is a good idea. Your hair’s condition will also be maintained while addressing any potential issues.

When we talk about hair care, what exactly do we mean?

Regular cleaning and cosmetic routines are essential for maintaining and protecting your hair’s condition. Each person has a different hair type, determined by the type of hair color and appearance they have. Hair can be classified into three types:

  • Normal hair is the most natural-looking of the three options. It tends to keep its style and also looks good. This hair does not have to be dry or greasy, and it can be treated with regular shampoo and/or conditioner.
  • Dry hair feels or appears dull. It easily becomes tangled and is difficult to comb or brush. If it has been colored, bleached, or permed, it is susceptible to any of these issues.
  • Greasy/fine hair appears flat and lifeless. It easily becomes greasy and is difficult to manage. For greasy hair, use a shampoo and/or conditioner formulated with oil-absorbing ingredients.
  • Salon treatments such as braiding, perming, coloring, and bleaching produce beautiful hair but use them sparingly. Hair loss can be caused by excessive styling, better you should avoid it.

Fashion may cause some to suffer, but you should never jeopardize your hair, which is a crucial part of your identity. Pregnancy, illness, certain medications, or lifestyle factors can all have an effect on your hair, but these are usually temporary. Even if your hair is affected by any of these, it is still important to take care of it.  Taking care of your hair entails washing it on a regular basis to remove dirt buildup and maintain its condition.

The hair care routines listed below will help to reduce the risk of hair loss:

Allow your hair to ‘hang’ naturally while washing it in warm water. Hairdressers usually check the water temperature with you when you go to the salon. If it’s too hot, say so.

  • Shampooing: Make sure to massage it into your scalp and hair after taking a small amount in your palm.
  • Cleaning: After removing the lather, rinse your hair again to ensure that all lather is removed.
  • Conditioning: apply this to your hair after you’ve removed the shampoo. Repeat the procedure as described for shampooing.
  • Rubbing: Using a towel, dry your hair and comb or brush it to remove knots or tangles. A hair dryer can be used if letting it dry naturally is not possible.

Final Thoughts

You can avoid bad hair days if you use chemical-free products designed for your specific hair type, eat well, avoid heat styling, and follow all of the above tips! Most importantly, consult your doctor if you are experiencing excessive hair loss and damage despite following a good hair care routine. When combined with regular visits to the hairdresser, your hair will look and feel fantastic.
